Thank you to everyone who came along to the Ruislip Explorers Horse Racing Fundraising Night on 7 March at the 1st/3rd Ruislip Scout Group HQ. It was fantastic to see so many Explorer families and supporters join us for the evening and help make the event such a success.
The night was packed with excitement as the races played out on screen, with plenty of cheering as people backed their horses and hoped for a win. From the first race at 7pm through to the final results, the atmosphere was brilliant and it was great to see everyone getting involved.
Alongside the races, the raffle was a big highlight of the evening. Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and especially to those who kindly donated prizes. Your generosity helped make the raffle a really enjoyable part of the night and contributed to the success of the fundraiser.
We’d also like to thank everyone who supported the event by buying tickets and bet bundles in advance, as well as those who came along on the night. Every bit of support helps us continue to run activities, events, and opportunities for our Explorers.
A big thank you goes to all the volunteers and leaders who helped organise and run the event, from setting up the venue to managing the races and raffle throughout the evening. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes, and the night wouldn’t have been possible without their effort and time.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came along, placed bets, and joined in with the fun. We hope you all had a great evening and enjoyed the races as much as we did.
